What it’s about:
Jace Jamison is every woman’s fantasy. He’s rich, sexy and incredible in bed – he’s also an escort. Jace likes his job but he knows it’s not something he can do forever, and when he meets Adrienne everything changes. Adrienne has had a sexual drought and when she meets Jace, she’s eager to quench her thirst, but she’s seen him with lots of different women and she’s not sure she can do the one night stand thing. Luckily, that’s not what Jace wants. Jace finally convinces her to go out with him but when women from his work world start meeting Adrienne, his secret might just be what breaks them.
What I thought:
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a light, fun read with plenty of HOT sex. I was really in the mood for something light that would just entertain me with no complicated back story – and that’s exactly what I got.
Jace is an amazing character, I loved that he was intelligent and wanted more from life. In the beginning you see that the Escort business is not something he is ashamed of, even enjoys it sometimes, but that he does view it as a job. I think it worked well for the story that he was already planning on quitting and that it wasn’t this unrealistic romantic gesture for Adrienne. That’s really what made the story great for me, you experience this in a very realistic way and I enjoyed that telling of the story as well as the characters.
It definitely kept me captivated I was eager to find out how Adrienne would learn about Jace’s job and how it would play out. I think it all came together so well and the only reason I didn’t give the book the full 5 stars was because I thought it should have ended a little sooner. I think the last 2 chapters were unnecessary, but I did like the small taste of Troy’s book. I’m excited to read the next one, even though I didn’t love Emily that much.
